    Seated quickly by a very pleasant waitress/server, Ally. My order and food delivery were both fast! The burger was tasty and cooked perfectly, however a little dry since they don't use a sauce. I used ketchup which worked fine. I forgot to ask for crispy fries but the cut and type of potatoes they use made them crispy enough! All in all, I'd eat this again and I will be returning

    I came here in the afternoon on a Monday. Service was very fast, and the server was attentive and friendly. It is a clean space with lots of decoration. I ate a jalapeño burger with fries and the zucchini fries. Burger was juicy and fresh, apparently locally sourced beef. The zucchini fries were unusual and tasty with a very soft inside.

    Was in town for Redding for work and looked for some place to grab dessert so I walked into Hilltop diner because I saw pies, shakes, and cookies! I first inquired if they accommodate large parties and they do have separate rooms that don't require an extra charge. Took some pics of their menu and bought some cookies. If you check in you get a free cookie. The pies and cookies looked amazing! I asked what the most popular ones were and they said chocolate chip and snickerdoodle so I got one of each! They serve breakfast all day. The staff were great and super accommodating. Plenty of parking nearby and located on Hilltop Drive where it's a pretty busy area.
